These are some of the coil built jars that I enjoy making, as well as some two-sectioned jars that provide a large vertical surface for the ash to form glaze on. Recently I have been enjoying botanical imagery and have incorporated some of the textures and tension found in flowers ready to blossom. I think I am drawn to this moment in nature as a result of watching my own daughters blossoming into beautiful young ladies.
